Drawing my first cartoons everybody was like:
"Oh, a little artist!"
But I never intendet to be an artist but a graphic designer since that sounds much cooler. So I went
to Hildesheim to study graphic design (with one year at the College of Visual Arts in St.Paul, Minnesota, USA). But the dayly grind in a design firm taught me the hard way that for this job I'm
too much an artist. What a dilemma! Today I live in a small village in Lower Saxony with my wife and two daughters and fullfill my childhood dream and write/illustrate childrens books and build
miniature stuff. Author and illustrator sounds the coolest anyways...
Okay, okay, I still do a little graphic design from time to time.
